Leggings Size Chart
Smarty Girl leggings fit true to size.
They fit similar to Target's Cat & Jack line but are shorter in the leg so the "Smarty Girl" embroidery near the hem doesn't bunch up.
But you want to be sure. And wrestling a toddler with a tape measure? Sounds...not fun.
So rather than create a size chart based on your child's size, I figure it's easiest to measure a pair of your daughter's favorite leggings.
Then determine the best fit based on the below size chart.
These measurements are based on unwashed Smarty Girl leggings laying flat:
When in doubt or in between sizes, buy a larger size. Better to be a bit too baggy at first and fit more snugly as kids grow.
Smarty Girl leggings may shrink a bit if washed in warm and dried in the dryer. I recommend machine washing in cold and laying flat to dry.
For reference: At 20 months old, my daughter Sofie weighed 25 pounds and was in the 85th percentile for height. The 18-24 months size fit her best.
